I obtained my Advanced study Diploma (D.E.A) in numerical Analysis at the University Paris VI in 1997 and began my PhD studies at the Université des Antilles et de la Guyane (University of the French West Indies and Guiana). I earned my PhD in Numerical Analysis in 2000 from the Université des Antilles et de la Guyane. My doctoral work deals with the study of numerical schemes of non conservative systems using the method splitting methods. I obtained my Habilition to Lead Research (H.D.R) in 2010. Since 2013 I am a Full Professor in Applied Mathematics at Université des Antilles et de la Guyane. I am member of Laboratoire de Mathématiques informatique et Applications (LAMIA) at the Université des Antilles (UA).

My areas of research in Applied Mathematics include Partial Differential Equations, Time Fractional Partial Differential Equations and Control Theory. My main goal by studying these subjects is to used them for modeling environmental phenomenon in order to control them.

So far I have trained and mentored some young researchers and five have earned their PhD diploma under my advice. Most of them are now working as lecturer at the Université des Antilles, Université de la Guyane, Université d’Etat d’Haïti (State University of Haiti).
